Ok then so this is my page, a whole page to me. I am David, but called Daff by most of my friends and people who know me, am almost 18 now and I have finished my first year at Doncaster college which has be good all year. I have diabetes, but still I get on with it and it never keeps me back from doing anything else. I’ve had it for almost 8 years now, am on an insulin pump which I have had for 2 years now I think, but can’t really remember. I still live my life to the full, I enjoy every moment I can, sometimes I forget I have diabetes, which sounds weird but I do from now and then.

I’ve been doing medieval re-enactment for almost 2 years now which has been good fun, the group that I am with are always up for a good laugh or 2, this is me while in my kit, ready for a fight and the one below is my unit as such, we are of the Howard Household, we’re the one’s in the red.

So that’s what I do at the weekends, it’s great, not that just you get to fight with weapons of the period, which we do is War of the Roses, but the fact you meet new people and make new friends, not just within the group have joined but outside the group.
